Adam Croft is an English crime fiction author known for his pacy, suspenseful style of writing. He is best known for his best-selling Knight & Culverhouse series of books.

Biography

Croft was born in Dunstable, Bedfordshire and now lives in nearby Flitwick.[1] He studied English Language to A level, but did not attend university.[2]

His debut novel, Too Close For Comfort, rose to the top of the Amazon bestseller charts in April 2011, gaining him critical acclaim and equal criticism. In an article published on his blog, Croft claimed that Too Close For Comfort is a 'Marmite book', explaining that readers will either love it or hate it.[3]

His second novel, Guilty as Sin, was released on 26th May 2011, as a sequel to Too Close For Comfort. It rose straight to second position in the Amazon bestseller chart.

On 16th November 2011, Croft announced that he had sold 100,000 books via Amazon Kindle alone.[4]

His third book, Exit Stage Left was announced on his Twitter feed on 28th November 2011, with a pre-Christmas release date planned[5]. It will feature a new amateur detective named Kempston Hardwick [6].
